Last Week's Program
Last week's program was from Ruben Ybarra with the Jackson County Ministerial Alliance (JCMA).

Ruben updated the club on the many initiatives that JCMA is involved with including, Houses of HopeFood Distribution at Operation C.A.R.E., Nehemiah Initiative, and more.

I was not able to take notes on the program; you may find information on all of the initiatives Ruben shared on Strong Tower Ministries' website.

Last Week's Rotarian of the Day

In the heart of Altus, Oklahoma, one woman is making a significant impact in the world of finance and community service. Rebecca Warren, affectionately known as Becky, is the founder and sole proprietor of Rebecca L. Warren, Certified Public Accountant. With a passion for numbers and a commitment to her clients, Becky has built a reputation as a trusted financial advisor in our community.

Becky’s journey began in Dallas, Texas, where she launched her accounting career. After gaining valuable experience in the bustling Lone Star state, she returned to her roots in Southwest Oklahoma. For seven years, she worked in public accounting, specializing in tax preparation and full bookkeeping services. However, life took a turn when she faced the heartbreaking loss of her mother to cancer. This pivotal moment led her to take on a new role as the controller at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, where she dedicated six years to managing finances while still serving her loyal tax clients.

Despite her demanding career, Becky has always found time to give back to her community. Her involvement on various boards and organizations showcases her commitment to making a difference. For the past 12 years, she has been an active member of the Altus Rotary Club, where her friendship and kindness have touched the lives of many.

Becky resides in Duke with her husband, Todd, a fourth-generation Jackson County farmer, and their two children, Kalin and Garret. Together, they embody the spirit of community and family that defines our region.

As a dedicated professional and community leader, Becky Warren continues to inspire those around her. Her unwavering commitment to her clients and her community is a testament to her character and passion for helping others. We are proud to have her as a vital part of our Altus community!
