Our service project, picking up trash at the reservoir was postponed due to the muddy conditions last Thursday. We will look to try to reschedule this month.
Please plan to attend the lunch meeting on Tuesday, June 24th. This will be the Passing of the Gavel. We will have smoked chicken and smoked pork with all the sides. You may invite a guest. Consider bringing a significant other, a co-worker, or a friend. Maybe they will be our newest Rotarian!

Last Week's Program
Last week's program was Club Assembly. We heard a brief word from Assistant Governor, Steve Cesar, regarding some designated funding the District had received.
The club voted to pass all suggested changes to the by-laws. These changes were made available to each club member via email, hard copies at meetings and on the projector throughout meetings. There was one final change suggested and it will be distributed to the club beginning tomorrow and we will vote on the 17th of June at our regularly scheduled Tuesday meeting.
The club was informed of one camper being sent to RYLA this year, Ava Hess from Altus High School. The members were informed that Ava would need a ride home from camp but that situation has been resolved.
The club was informed that all nine of our Jr. Rotarian Scholarships have been awarded. Rotaract awarded one scholarship to one of their graduating members.
Chris Griffin, Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A, was formally introduced to the club and we look forward to his induction as our newest member.
